Enhanced Mesh Networking

Mesh Networks are impacted by INTERFERENCE:

  • Mesh networks traditionally use omni directional antennas that can create self interference. It is this interference that limits the scalability of these networks.
  • Latency (delay) increases with increasing traffic on the network as most of the time is spent waiting for clear channel.

 

Mesh Networks with Phased Array Antennas have an ADVANTAGE

  • Shaping the beam reduces unnecessary interference. The channels can be reused more frequently and nodes can be spaced further apart.
  • THE RESULT:
    Network capacity increases up to 118%
    Latency improves by a factor of 28
